My mother Kaarina has given me ability to use my imagination and convert my thoughts into the words. She has always been very good story teller and has an ability to live in to the stories she twas telling.

When I was a child, she worked at the kindergarden I went to and she took us children to many [verbal] tours to magical forests and fairy tale lands.

When I was already a little bit older, she got an passion to tell horror stories in those long summer nights we spend in the grandmothers cottage. And I remember how we all (including herself) get always so frightened, that she newer could finish any of her own stories, but had to stop in half way every time :-)

Unfortunately my mother has ever really used those wonderful story telling - and writing - skills other than accasionally. I'm sure she could write good books, if she just got started.

Her hobbies are reading, handworks, cooking and sport. She loves nature and is a regular visiter on those many nature parks and free areas around Helsinki. All her summers she spends at the cottage in Northern Finland.

My mother is born in Helsinki and lived her life in the capital area.
