Pulau Perhentian

I am walking in the jungle. Most of Perhentian is covered by forest.
I, on the bridge.
A local settlement.
A nice jetty.
An idyllic beach.
Transportation of fuel to Perhentian is done in barrels, which get thrown from the ship into the sea, then float towards the shore and roll on the beach.
Some locals.
Tate posing.
Curry Laksa and Teh Tarik - wonderful presents from Malaysian foodculture to the mankind.
A stream runs from the jungle through the beach into the sea.
Ferns on the rock.
Pulau Perhentian consists actually of two different islands: Kecil (little) and Besar (big). In the background is Pulau Perhentian Kecil.
Pulau Perhantian is near the Thailand boarder and a few Buddhist monks went there.
Sunset at Perhentian.
I was trailed by a cat.
A view from the mountain.
I am sitting on a rock. On the background is a piece of rainforest.
Beef bacon. The influence of Islam is very strong in the State of Kelantan and therefore there is no serving of pork in many places.
